"City and Suburb: Housing in 20th Century Winnipeg" Exhibit Unveiled

On November 25, 2005, the Millennium Library hosted the unveiling of a fine exhibit entitled City and Suburb: Housing in 20th Century Winnipeg. The exhibit was donated to the Library by Winnipeg Real Estate Board President Ruthe Penner on behalf of the Board's 1,200 members.

The photographic exhibit is on display just outside the Millennium Library's Local History Room. A companion document, History of Winnipeg Housing, prepared by Professor David Burley of the University of Winnipeg, is available for consultation in the Local History Room.
